Under a survey taken of over 1000 Apple’s iPhone customers, we concluded that AT&T is not a good option. Since the beginning AT&T as iPhone’s carrier is showing connectivity problems with poor signal strength. This creates an alarming situation for AT&T, as a large number of consumers set seem to queue for purchasing the device.
A healthy number of Verizon consumers expressed their feelings to have an iPhone that is compatible of with their network instead of AT&T.
Counting on figures; 29% of all the respondents from the survey were somewhat likely to purchase an iPhone on Verizon’s network, while 51% of current Verizon subscribers said they will be waiting to buy the Verizon iPhone.
Digging deeper into details, it was noticed that out of the 23% of the Verizon subscribers 22% of the sprint subscribers and 20% of the T-Mobile customers wished to have Verizon as a network carrier on the iPhone. Furthermore, they described that a number of 47% of the AT&T users for iPhone who considered switching to Verizon once it is accessible on the iPhone.
Almost a third of existing iPhone users have not yet upgraded to latest iPhone 4 because they are patiently waiting for any other carrier availability on iPhone.
iPhone lacking Verizon has outshined a prolific niche to Android so far that also resulted in an expanded sales growth for Google’s Android platform. Android seems to outpace Apple’s sales unit in the US market for only one reason that is weak network carrier.
