itune-app-storeSteve Jobs just announced iTunes Connect for Mobile that puts app developer in direct contact to iTunes Connect via their handy smartphones. The new App Store application “iTunes Connect Mobile” is designed to guide the developer’s with the sales data for their applications and its distribution at the App Store.

The app would provide all the developers a daily and weekly data of the sales and development that is obtainable for both paid or free apps and in-app purchases. The app store counts almost 250,000 apps and to be updated with that big number was a tough job ever the release of iTunes Connect Mobile makes it easy like never before.

Apple designed iTunes Connect Mobile itself, so it was0 very well assumed to be well-compact, highly-functional and peculiar. And sure it is, displaying the entire iTunes Store entry in one screenshot. The strange story behind this lavishing news is that it is only an iPhone app; I guess iPad users will have to purchase an iPhone or access the 2x zoom option to scale the app.

The app is designed to align in dispersed sales stats according to day by day, week or month (5w) and 6 months (26w). A set of colourful graphics lets you to display the unit sales and their updates efficiently. Furthermore, the app let the developers to go through the information about the different markets where the app is also sold. iTunes is compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch that requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later it is not a universal application as it lacks an iPad-specific interface.

The iTunes Connect Mobile app marks Texas Hold’em, Remote, Keynote Remote, MobileMe iDisk, and MobileMe Gallery in the list of Apple’s sixth official iPhone applications. Apple is looking forward to release iBooks and its iWork suite for the iPad soon.
