It seems like iPhone tightens up a strong grip on the celebrities’ choice of gadgets. Talking about the hot fresh-out-of-rehab Lindsay Lohan, few days back was spotted with Apple’s Smartphone in her jewel embedded iPhone clutch.

Celebrity’s affiliations with big brands are a normal trend, but it is interesting to see how many of them are associated to iPhone. Digging deeper I came across a lot of big shots, especially Hollywood stars making it big and stylized with the iPhone.

Eddie Izzard’s, the king of humor, was noticed with an enhancement of an iPhone 3GS on his stripped tour. The device fantasized him with easy-to-go processing from anywhere about anything he wishes to know. He quoted that:

“In the old days,” he says, “and by the old days I mean two years ago, we’d think of something. How do people make jam? How do people make wine? Something you wanted to know and you’d just ask your friends and if your friends didn’t know or anyone standing next to you didn’t know, then you just gave up. But now, you pull out this thing, press a button, put in ‘winemaking Wikipedia’ and up comes how they make wine or jam or bread or the history of the Chaplin family or the history of the world or the Romans or the Greeks or the Etruscans.”

The known Rapper and producer, Pharrell Williams owns a gold plated iPhone while the beautiful Megan fox owns a white one. The material girl tic-tac-two Madonna owns an iPhone too along with her other Smartphones. I was terribly shocked to see if Paris Hilton has an iPhone and that she knows how to use one.

I grew up in the 90s so Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz have special place in my heart for their flawless performances; whether it’s about Charlie’s angel or James Bond 007. I had high hopes for their movies released on June 23. Dint got the time to watch it cause of hectic workaholic weekends but finally I bashed this weekend with this comic-action story, and guess what I noticed in the movie was an iPhone. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz both effectively used iPhone for its GPS based location app throughout the movie.

This pushes me to ponder, if celebrities make use of Apple’s name or Apple makes it big enough through these celebrities. Whatever way it is, it only proves that iPhone is a style statement for many.
