A multidimensional approach to why iPhone alone is treated the best among other Smartphones
What makes Smartphone really smart?
People keep buzzing their “opinions” about the best Smartphone around. However, the battle is between only a few players involving Android, HTC, iPhone 4, N8, Nexus, Palm and other Replicas. Furthermore, in comparing three things count a lot. Firstly, the overall branding plays the game. Secondly the popularity trend and buzz word makes the difference and lastly the attributes and price complete the game.
Qualifying for all of the above with flying colours is Apple iPhone 4. This isn’t my opinion but both factual and common sense approach leads to this conclusion. Soon after its launch, iPhone 4 has been rated 8.9 out of 10 at Test Freak. The Freak Grades illustrates a user score of 6.9 and expert score of 8.8 which signifies the overall score for iPhone 4 to be better than other Smartphone.
Now, people say that its marketing and opinion based results. To know the truth you must think rationally and analytically. The Apple iPhone 4 alone has over 200,000 applications in more than 10 different categories as compared to Android applications which cross 72,000 marks. If we say that Android applications are multiplatform, it really doesn’t matter for the user as he/she would buy majorly on the overall image and value of the Smartphone. Most users do not go deep in the technical details but the user based reviews for iPhone 4, which according to Google results, are in millions. With users buzzing more about iPhone 4 means there is something special about it.
The developers of iPhone 4 also get more profit as compared with other platforms. This gives edge to iPhone 4 over Android being developer friendly. Apple has positioned its iPhone 4 so accurately with its audience that it’s even those who don’t buy iPhone 4 are at least willing to buy it. The overall branding of iPhone 4 gives the competitive edge of being the winner in the industry.
Similarly Apple is expanding beyond US market which means there is more iPhone 4 for the world to see while other smart phones would feel hesitant to compete. Even if anyone has to copy, they have iPhone 4 as their benchmark.
At the end the winner is not the one who gets more sales, features or value but the one who has more replies as this is response driven economy in which iPhone 4 is the winner.
