Corinne: Children, these days are interacting with technology when they are babies, due to having intuitive touch screen tablets. It is parents who have to decide that at what time they want their kids to use technology and make their social brain interacted. But, they must keep in mind that social brains of kids must interact with families and friends rather than relying on tapping over glasses. They are infants and thus they must not lack in understanding the world.

eNannySource: Which is the first tech toy- Tablet or Laptop?

Corinne: For the young kids, smart phones and tablets both are much institutive. On the other hand, Laptop is a business tool. There are too many things for shutting down and starting up. That is why I feel, that tablet is the better option. Also, application developers of tablets have provided the kids with tremendous amount of apps which can be enjoyed and can be used for learning.

eNannySource: What should be the goal of introducing kids with technology? What are pros and cons?

Corinne: When these tech devices are used as tool rather than toy, it is better. Parents who employ these tools for polishing the creativity of their children, reinforcing their skills and strengthen the problem solving skills are on better pace. The real advantage of technology is to inspire kids so that they can interact with their friends for solving the math problems and learn stories for getting imaginative. The biggest con of technology in my perception is that we are using it as a baby sitter. They are glued with phones and they are really missing something in their world.

Twitter Shuts The Ribbon’s In-stream Payment Immedialteyl After Its Launch, Probably Cause of Violation of Twitter’s Terms of Service.

Ribbon- the payment startup announced this morning that it’s now going to support “in-stream” payments on the microblogging platform i.e. twitter, enabling the twitter users to do their payments directly via clicking the link in tweets which means they can make payments without leaving twitter’s website. But twitter has shut its new launch just after it made its public debut.The same was confirmed by Hany Rashwan, Co-founder of Ribbion that twitter has closed this service and Ribbon is trying to catch-up with the twitter so that service can be resumed.
The most probable reason of this immediate closure of service can be the model used by Ribbon for the payments i.e. the player card model which seems to be a violation of Terms of Service set by Twitter. The point of getting amazed is that who brought such violation to twitter’s attention and also abruptly
Ribbon, the payment startup allows users to make payments via link which on click take users to a separate page where they can experience a one-page and simplified payment checkout. But with its today’s launch the payment process was tried to be made more simplified and user-friendly by using the ‘Twitter Card’ functionality.
