  • SoSocio, the Dutch Startup Facebook Photobook app company Rasies $600k In Second Round Funding, Focusing to Extends its Global Availability

  • So Socio, a Dutch startup raised approx funding of $600,000 in second round from a European group of investors (private) in order to expand and enhance the reach of its Photobook- a facebook application. This app allows users to create paper-based and digital cards and photo books from their pictures (uploaded) on Facebook. The European Group is led by the VC of Brooklyn Ventures who is from Netherland and was also the fund-provider of So Socio’s first round funding.
    The Dutch start-up, founded in 2011 has raised $765K till date with the aim to spend its latest funding revenue on extending its international reach.  Presently, the company’s products can easily be ordered anywhere around the world but one thing which limits its reach is the parts of its site, which are only in Dutch. Its intent of being popular across the international platforms basically focuses on kicking off in France, Germany, the U.K., Italy & Spain with US to be in “coming soon” list where as per the company its app is already cadetting some grip in market.
