The next thing you know is getting married through iPhone!

With the increasing “i” factor from Apple, a lot of consumer lifestyle is changing. I personally never imagined doing the Smartphone way. Recently it came in view that Apple is looking forward to provide a way to the app developers to charge on subscription basis.

The newspaper and magazine publishers tend to earn on subscription. It is a possibility that many newspaper are absent from Apple platform due to subscription-less-profit. Now when Apple has plans for app developers to charge on subscription basis which means a lot of money is about to spin.

According to sources, Apple would share demographics with publishers. This would benefit them from advertising point of view. The ads are the bread and butter for publications therefore proper segmentation would help them in targeting precisely. This would also encourage the newspaper and magazine publisher’s confidence in Apple as seen in eBook case.

Apple hasn’t officially announced any such word regarding the technicality of this offer. Publishers would certainly love this so would the readers. iPad would be more fun with quality newspaper. A new revenue model awaits the iPublishers.

The iPublishers would get more control over the content and new market can be established in this regard. However, publishers also understand this well that designing for publishing on paper and on tablet are two different things.

Currently many iPhone and iPad users are getting popular newspaper feeds for free. Therefore why would they go for paid subscriptions? This question must be answered well by iPublishers.

iPad is being criticized for its so-called iPhone like looks. People who are fond of using iPhone are not getting a good reason to use iPad except for its enlarged screen. Later this week, The Financial Times stated that the Japanese government is distributing Apple iPad to the sumo wrestlers in order to enhance communication among clubs.

It was further reported that the Japan Sumo Association will hand out iPads to their 51 Japanese sumo training “stables”. The Japanese association took this decision after realizing the fact that sumo wrestlers are commonly seen to be slow in adopting modern technology. Easy multi touch screen could put away their hindrance, and they can easily communicate digitally with just a touch. Though, I doubt if iPad screen is resistant to a Sumo wrestlers’ BIG finger touch.

iPad will prove to be a trouble free solution with its intuitive interface and larger touch-screen for small head-big bodies. It is assumed that using iPad is way too easier job, since faxes don’t make sure if the message is received or not but emails can be tracked. Additionally they can carry iPad very easily with them around anywhere they want to.

A good number of stable masters are not too good at computers or rely on either fax or telephone to communicate. Due to some basic reasons wrestlers are always troubled with typing messages on keypads with their much larger fingers.

In the daily Nikkan sports it was mentioned that “When they try to send e-mail on mobile phones or PCs they often end up pressing two or three keys at once”. Japanese association has pledged an amount of 3 million yen that is over $35,000 to be spent on getting an iPad which will be given away to several top JSA officials.

At the launch of iPad in May Japanese were observed to camp out the Apple store in central Tokyo for buying the iPad firsthand. Almost about 1200 people queued to get their fingers rolling on the device. iPad had already managed to establish its fan base, and now it is penetrating into some specific niches as well. Seems like iPad has a good future in Japan, at least!

At last, Microsoft announced ActiveSync support for Hotmail on iPhone and iPad.

This development will open new doors to easy access for iPhone and iPad users who access Hotmail and other similar web services. The MS Hotmail ActiveSync was previously supported by other Smart-platforms like windows mobile, windows phone 7, Nokia (E S, and N series), but now it will also be supported by iPhone and iPad.

The Hotmail support for Microsoft’s exchange ActiveSync (EAS) will now be available to customers worldwide. This is a push synchronization support which on the iPhone and iPad would require just a tap to perform synchronization with your email, chats and other Hotmail services.

iPhone and iPad users can use Microsoft Hotmail ActiveSync, which will enable them to get their mail, calendar and contacts on a tap-to-push automation using the exchange server. The support is quite robust and supports multiple MS windows versions. The ActiveSync works in a very similar fashion of any live exchange server. It updates both the nodes at the same time for live synchronization. This means that changes made on the phone can be seen on the web and vice versa. This is not all. The ActiveSync also supports extended capabilities for MS Outlook. So if you are using Outlook for synchronization you can set up ActiveSync for Hotmail synchronization for your iPhone and iPad.

Microsoft further announced that ActiveSync is not yet available for Android. According to reports, the MS Hotmail team is looking forward to deploying it on Android too but there are some technical limitations, which are creating hindrance. Until then iPhone and iPad users can be grateful that they own an Apple product.

Getting Adobe with a free image editing app for iPad seems like a good idea to try some tricks on my photos. The huge 9.6 inches screen for photo editing that works with finger tapping gives you an amazing experience. Photoshop Express comes as a very clever tool for photo editing on iPad while the editing experience through tapping and flicking your fingers on the multi-touch screen is enjoyable in every bit of it.

To share your albums, simply get a free Photoshop.com account and upload, store and share all your edited photos from your iPhone or iPad. You can enjoy sending and sharing photos to a limit of almost 1,000 pics, while you gain access to your entire Photoshop.com photos library.

Photoshop is used as one of the smartest tools for basic and enhanced image editing. Photoshop Express is no different than this except for its multi touch use. The app makes it easier to enhance your photos on iPad by adding finger-touch effects. You can tap and flick on the screen to crop, rotate, zoom and adjust colors. The app also includes the conventional artistic filters like Soft Focus and Sketch. Unlike some poor photo editing mobile applications, on Photoshop Express for iPad, you can always undo/redo changes with a copy of the original file always saved.

Quick view on the features

Crop, rotate, change color with a touch.

Give an extra glow with Soft Focus.

Get creative with Sketch.

Apply one-touch effects like Warm Vintage and Vignette.

Two amazing iPad accessories, I came across with, are “FridgePad” and “Syte Shirt”. People designing it surely have smart heads. They leave me wonder, where do they get these ideas from?

Woodford Design developed a unique and new FridgePad accessory for the newly launched Apple iPad. FridgePad is manufactured as a magnetized holder for your iPad that provides your iPad a mount like object to hold the device on your refrigerator or any slat magnetized surface. The FridgePad works as an amazingly convenient and magnet-friendly surface.

Images of this iPad accessory on the Woodford’s website display as un-encased iPad mounting that is edged with four molded corner grips. It comes along a suggestion that it will not be case-friendly. The pricing tag is not yet finalized by the Woodford Design’s but it is expected in this year’s autumn soon.

Another one, both user and environment friendly iPad case, Syte Shirt is in hot looks these days. It is probably an enhanced and innovative visualization to revolutionize Apple influenced audience in a new world of imagination. No additional cases or anything like that, it’s just your t-shirt that holds the iPad. The t-shirts are available in various patterned and colored styles in total different manner from each other.

The iPad-touting t-shirts, without any doubts will be a perfect eye-catchy stuff to walk down with on the streets. The pre-shrunk and lightly weighed cotton t-shirt has a slit on inside for sliding your tablet in and the window on the front lets the wearer to fully interact with his iPad. The t-shirt is even designed with additional port connectors that are accessible to 3.5mm headphone jacks.

Style Shirts are available for just $49.95 to $54.95.

But Apple’s old kingship retains in the form of approval system. Since iPhone days, we know how clogged up Apple’s approval for <a href="http://www.itsaboutiphone.co.uk/category/iphone-applications/"title="iphone applications" >iPhone apps have been, and now its iPad’s turn. Talking of approval system, already a couple of subscriptions have been cancelled out without any explanation from the company.

Peter Kafka of MediaMemo stated that: “The Time Inc. in last month proposed a digital subscription for its Sports Illustrated iPad magazine to the <a href="http://www.itsaboutiphone.co.uk/category/app-store/"title="iphone applications store" >App Store. Just like the app approval process Apple at the end moment rejected the software and made it obligatory for the magazine to sell singular copies of the publication.”

Issue is not only with the publishers but the rest of the iPad users also go home, unsatisfied. With a high end, expensive device, they do not expect such glitches. Currently, iPad enlists almost 147 reviews about its magazine apps on the Apps store but only 97 users actually rated the application on average rating of minimum one star and maximum of two stars.

A user on his comment for iPad’s digital magazine application stated that “Not going to pay what SI charges per issue. Lower the cost SI, get behind the new technology. But don’t scratch us.”

Subscriptions were being a vital source of print media and its business model and they offer qualitative and persistent revenue. A few numbers of applications on App Store knowingly “Amazon’s Kindle” or “The Wall Street Journal’s” allow their potential users to be charged directly but other content providers such as “The New York Times” do not offer digital subscriptions to the user.

Steve Jobs recently launched his latest beta V2 update for the patent application MobileMe, which now turns into a web-based Calendar. This ultimate application offers scheduling and making announcements on the particular dates on calendar. The app also allows the user to option the newly upgraded program that brings shared calendaring and an iPad-like appearance.

[slideshow=2]

The app is upgraded with a new beta interface that performs as a calendar data and process to make any sort of changes convert data into new format. Users who choose to leave the beta will lose updated changes, as Apple warns in the signup process.

The new Calendar app requires the latest iOS 4 for iPhone or iPod touch and for Mac latest OS X 10.6.4 or even most recently launched MobileMe Control Panel 1.6.1 for Windows. The app is also effectively working on modern web browsers that are minimally Safari 4, Firefox 3.6, or Internet Explorer 8.

Apple made a notification that the new calendar beta will not support Microsoft Outlook behind a proxy server. Whereas it also not supports push updates for Windows and iPad users too. The MobileMe Calendar for iPad will bring a new data when opened whereas in Windows it will be running on outlook efficiently and get you through the new event data within every five minutes.

The other iOS 4 based devices and Mac will continue to receive push updates normally. Apple Users with lots of calendar data were warned at the event that their older data will be automatically incremented and upgraded in every next hour.

iPad’s newly upgraded MobileMe calendar features as a slider control and at the bottom rapidly navigate through the future and previous months on the calendar. The app appears like tear off page from a paper pad that notes the upcoming events of user. Just like an effective calendar app it also provides a day summary and list view of upcoming events.

The users already using MobileMe are opted with a new beta version by logging in and requesting an invite for upgrade. The new Calendar update in the patent application from Apple is the latest overhaul series of upcoming upgrades soon to the devices. This new update to the app’s calendar uses the latest SproutCore frameworks that create a very desktop-like experience.

iPad since its launch is a piece of criticism with a tag on itself of being nothing just a bigger iPhone without camera, USB port and multi-tasking interface. Many of us didn’t like the invention very much as it hardly matched our sole expectations from Apple’s so called unique tablet.

Apple has worked harder on the implementation and it is merely useful to spend a few dollars on such a device that not only lets you read digital books but also helps you browse internet and play games on the go. Well any smartphone can do that, so why buy an iPad? The question is right though, but it’s the 9.6 inch screen that matters. Images look quite attractive and clarified on the larger screen, and HTML 5 also gives a wonderful video experience on the iPad, isn’t?

Criticism is not always bad. For a lot of them negative marketing works out a great deal and makes the product the most talked about thing. More people buying it as a result. Apple’s iPad had the same luck. Not to forget its glorious sales chart with a million sales in just a month of its launch or the freaking people around the world who madly waited in the long queue at the retailers just to get their fingers on the large touch screen tablet by APPL Inc.

Going through a little survey on iPad and its interaction with the Apple Costumers I uncovered a few pros and cons of the device through their interesting comments in these amazing videos.

The Japanese chemist in the video lends me a second thought to disguise Apple’s iPad by his most motivating statement that “Why would he pay a $60 for a Kindle to read digital books if he can easily get them in a matter of cents at the Public library. While iPad not only provides digital eBook reading experience but hell lot of other interesting features that let it more interesting than the Kindle’s netbook.” This nails the discussion!

This Video was a wonderful thought for the nut shells who are after criticizing the device but curious to get one for them. Accept the truth pal, you too have a little interest to run your fingers on the large touch screen of Apple’s tablet. Isn’t? Be honest .

This was an influential one! A lot of you like me never considered using iPad in the classroom. But it can really help in teaching, especially to the toddlers who like graphical output. This video points out a very relevant use, and if employed properly can be adopted as one of the teaching techniques.

iPad might not be Apple’s best product so far, but it is surely not worthless. Somehow people have drawn out ways of intelligent iPad usage.

Buying an iPad is not enough. To get the most out of it you need some iPad accessories that enhance the experience. Moreover, you need to have it you way, an iPad that defines your style and experience. Here are some iPad accessories that I found good…
