Bango is offering carrier billing by default in order to power payments in Mozilla’s Firefox OS

In the Mobile World Congress 2013, Mozilla has made a splashing announcement that they are coming up with the first official phone which will operate on Firefox OS smart phone platform, along with the names of 18 carriers companies and handset markers who are following to get business. In this process, details about emerging partners have been shared and it seems like Mozilla has inked deal with Bango to enable mobile payment system on their devices. Bango is carrier billing company which is working with Amazon, Facebook, Opera, and Blackberry.However none of these two companies have declared any inking of deal, yet you can visit Firefox OS platform and see a demo of billing. You will find logo of Bango over there.
It is also explored from Mozilla’s API documentation that Mozilla is going to use Bango’s public APIS along with the APIs customized for Firefox OS app store, jointly. The page reads showed that “Mozilla is currently employing Bango for enabling the mobile payments. They have numerous public APIs along with customized APIs in accordance with the requirements of Mozilla.
This may not proof to be a surprise for many of you. One of the most recent deals inked between the Bango and Telefonica for powering the services of Telefonica across 314 million subscribers. This deal will reach towards its implementation from Latin American operations and this will fit for the Firefox OS for those emerging market who have not yet given a try to iOS and Android ecosystem.
“The global deal will aim that developers of Telefonica’s 314 million subscribers will become capable of integrating single API in their mobile websites and apps to enable two click carrier payments across the app store in the network of Bango. These include Google Play, Amazon App Store, Facebook App Center, Blackberry App World, Opera app store, Windows Phone Store and upcoming app store of Bango.

One of the major reasons that fascinate Mozilla Firefox OS is HTML5 based smart phone platform which is not yet captured by Android and Apple. This will allow addition and customization of local services like mobile adverting and app billing.
